According to presidential adviser Ivanka Trump, her father shouldn’t be impeached and his future should be left to voters in 2020.

Oh, and Donald Trump is also a lot like Abraham Lincoln, Ivanka says.

During an interview with the Associated Press (AP), the First Daughter said she didn’t think the public needs to know the name of the whistleblower whose testimony has led to the House impeachment inquiry:

“The whistleblower shouldn’t be a substantive part of the conversation.

“To me, it’s not particularly relevant aside from what the motivation behind all of this was.”

When asked specifically about the impeachment of her father, Ivanka echoed the same thing the president has said about the investigation being an attempt at “overturning the results of the 2016 election,” telling the AP:

“Basically since the election, this has been the experience that our administration and our family has been having. Rather than wait, under a year, until the people can decide for themselves based on his record and based on his accomplishments, this new effort has commenced.”

As for criticism of her father, Ivanka suggested that he was much like a presidential predecessor:

“This has been the experience of most.

“Abraham Lincoln was famously, even within his own Cabinet, surrounded by people who were former political adversaries,”

Asked if the impeachment was a low point for the Trump administration, Ivanka replied:

“I think when Americans are winning, we’re feeling great, so I wouldn’t consider it a low point. I think Americans are prospering like never before.”

The ones “prospering” the most are the filthy rich such as Ivanka and her family, all of whom are making bank on the Trump name while her father continues to violate the emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Clearly, Ms. Trump is just as clueless as her father and brothers. They think they shouldn’t face consequence for their actions and live under the delusion that they’re being persecuted because others are jealous of them.

The truth, however, is that we’re sick and tired of the lawless actions of an out of control president who needs to be removed from office and indicted for his crimes.
