Even though she has yet to hold a press briefing despite drawing a taxpayer-funded salary in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham thought it would be a good time for her to weigh in on the first day of public impeachment hearings regarding President Donald Trump’s alleged attempted extortion of Ukraine.
The impeachment hearings were not even two hours old when Grisham went on Twitter and posted this:
This sham hearing is not only boring, it is a colossal waste of taxpayer time & money. Congress should be working on passing USMCA, funding our govt & military, working on reduced drug pricing & so much more. @realDonaldTrump is working right now-the dems should follow his lead!

A waste of taxpayer time and money? That’s rich coming from a woman who doesn’t even perform the most basic duties of her job.
National security attorney Bradley P. Moss responded to Grisham, reminding her that Congress was performing its Constitutionally mandated duty:
I am just a mere private lawyer here, Ms. Grisham, but conducting oversight and potential impeachment inquiries into alleged misconduct by the President fits squarely within the four corners of Congress’s authority and responsibility.
Also known as “working right now”. https://t.co/EctEO3xjNH

Others were quick to agree wholeheartedly with Moss:
Congress is perfectly capable of multi-tasking. There are many other things happening on Capitol Hill today. She might check a newspaper for a listing of hearings and floor activity.
As she is so worried about inaction, she should share her concerns with Senator McConnell.

The impeachment inquiry is currently happening in only one committee. There’s other work being done in the House.
And the House has passed all twelve budget bills; the Senate—led by your party—is the one dragging out the process.

Sorry, but we’re not paying for you to be entertained. Do your damn job.

Boring? Not boring at all! Also, it seems like you’re following it very closely. You should probably start updating your resume now.

1. Not a sham.
2. Not boring.
3. Legislation has been passed at a record pace. McConnell won’t bring it to a vote.
4. Impeachment of a lawless Executive is the job of Congress.
5. If you can’t do the job we, the people, are paying you to do, RESIGN, Steph.

So your goal is a reality show and not substance ? Makes sense in who you went to work for.
