Fox News host Tucker Carlson literally admitted that he is rooting for Russia over Ukraine, an American ally, as he desperately attacked former Vice-President Joe Biden in defense of President Donald Trump on Monday night.
Trump is currently getting hammered by damning testimony in an impeachment inquiry that reveals just how bad his Ukraine scandal is, which has forced his Fox News propagandists to work overtime in an effort to undermine it.
During his show on Monday night, Carlson attempted to interrogate former Hillary Clinton adviser Richard Goodstein, focusing entirely on Biden and his son’s Ukraine connections while ignoring the fact that Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine and demanded dirt on Biden as part of an extortion scheme, which has been confirmed by Ambassador Gordon Sondland.
“Isn’t it a little weird that here you have Joe Biden’s ne’er do well son using his father’s position to make a million dollars here in a business he knows nothing about?” Carlson ironically said considering Trump is in a job he knows nothing about.
“Trump is being impeached for asking about it,” Carlson continued. “Do you think that’s a little bit weird?”
That’s not true. Trump did more than “ask,” as Goodstein pointed out. Ukrainian prosecutors have already previously cleared the Bidens of any wrongdoing, but Trump wanted the appearance of an investigation to hurt Biden politically. Or in other words, he wanted Ukraine to interfere with the 2020 Election on his behalf.
“We do care about the substance of it,” Carlson insisted. “And the substance of it is that Trump, for all of his sins — and I’ll concede some of them — has never taken close to a million dollars a year from a Ukrainian energy company to do nothing because his dad is the vice president. So Hunter Biden did. Now I know Hunter Biden. I actually like Hunter Biden, but that’s totally corrupt — and you know it. Why is it worse to ask about it than do it?”
Hunter Biden served on the board of a Ukrainian gas company for five years as a private citizen. He has served with the Department of Commerce and in executive positions with other companies prior to that, so he has experience that would benefit any company.
But after Goodstein noted that people are dying in Ukraine trying to fight Russia, Carlson made a fatal error by admitting on the air that he wants Russia to win against our own ally.
“Why do I care? Carlson quipped. “Why do I care what’s going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia? I’m serious. Like, why do I care? And why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am. Why should I root for Ukraine against Russia? I’m totally — I’m sincerely confused. Why shouldn’t I root for Russia against Ukraine or Latvia against Moldova? Why should I care at all?”
Carlson later tried to clean up his mess by claiming that he was “joking,” but nobody bought it, certainly not Meghan McCain, who proceeded to shred him on Twitter for siding with Russia.
“Why shouldn’t I root for Russia?” is truly and utterly some next level shit propaganda…. and a totally abhorrent thing to say.
Also I’ll make the answer idiot proof. Just google Oleg Sentsov. https://t.co/A4zDK0OnGd https://t.co/iJ4Ea5Wrbz

Sentov is a Ukrainian filmmaker whom Russia arrested on fabricated charges upon their illegal seizure of the Crimea.
In addition, GOP pollster Frank Luntz was so shocked by what Carlson said that he lamented that he wonders who his friends and enemies are.
It’s comments like this from @TuckerCarlson that make me wonder who my friends are and who my enemies are – it makes me wonder whether the world has gone insane.
I know who I support; Ukraine is an imperfect ally but Russia is a perfect enemy. https://t.co/oY2sRSEKw3

If anything, Carlson’s admission makes it perfectly clear that Trump, Fox News and the Republican Party are in Russia’s pocket. And every American should be disgusted by his anti-American sentiment.
