President Donald Trump only tweeted out an American flag after news broke that he had ordered the killing of top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, but despite fears that he has just started World War III, Trump began Friday morning by spouting gibberish about Iran that confused everyone.

Soleimani was killed by an American airstrike at the Baghdad airport according to a statement by the Pentagon announcing that the strike had been directly ordered by Trump, who once posted tweet after tweet accusing former President Barack Obama of plotting to start a war with Iran to help him get re-elected in 2012.

Now Trump appears to be actually starting the war to help his own re-election chances just days after blaming Iran for an attack on the U.S. embassy in Iraq. After all, a war with Iran would dominate the headlines and knock his impeachment off the news. Trump could even use a major war to justify declaring a national emergency so he can cancel the 2020 Election and remain in office.

Understandably, the world is now on edge, as are American troops and their families as they wonder if a global war is about to commence.

Trump could have calmed the waters on Friday morning. Instead, he made matters worse as usual with a tweet that made no sense.

Trump is apparently referencing the negotiation that produced the Iran nuclear deal during the Obama administration, a deal that had been working as Iran had been complying with the terms. It was a deal that could have served as a foundation for future negotiations that could have brought Iran to heel entirely, but Trump withdrew the United States from the deal and began a “maximum pressure” campaign that has forced Iran to suspend parts of the agreement and become more aggressive militarily in the region.

Simply put, Trump is responsible for the resurgence of Iranian aggression and he has been seeking war from the beginning.

Trump would go on to spike the football by bragging about Soleimani’s death and claimed that the Iranian people are happy he has been killed.

The response from Americans is not what he was hoping for as they slammed him for potentially starting a war and pointed out that Iran has, in fact, won wars before.

Make no mistake, this is an escalation of hostilities between the United States and Iran, and Trump is to blame for it. If his actions start a major war, every single one of his children should have to join the military and be the first on the front line. Because many American parents are going to lose children because of Trump’s recklessness.
