Paula White, who serves as President Donald Trump’s spiritual adviser, is in very hot water for remarks she made during a sermon in which she prayed that the “Satanic pregnancies” of anyone opposed to Trump would end in miscarriage.
According to Right Wing Watch, White preached her sermon on January 5, and she said a prayer in which she demanded:
“In the name of Jesus, we command all Satanic pregnancies to miscarry right now. We declare that anything that’s been conceived in Satanic wombs, that it will miscarry, it will not be able to carry forth any plan of destruction, any plan of harm.”

When the video came to light, White tried to walk back her comments, posting this explanation on Twitter:
I don’t normally respond but clearly this has been taken out of context. I was praying Eph 6:12 that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Anything that has been conceived by demonic plans, for it to be cancelled and not prevail in your life… https://t.co/tKEUs4muwZ

According to the King James Bible, Ephesians 6:12, which White referenced, reads:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
But White’s rationale for what she said regarding miscarriage didn’t sit well with many, including James Martin, a prominent Jesuit priest:
No pregnancies are satanic. Every child is a gift from God. No one should ever pray for any woman to miscarry. No one should ever pray for evil or harm to befall another person. Jesus asked us to pray for our persecutors, not to curse them. To love our neighbors as ourselves. https://t.co/EZq9BwLV0v

Even the Church of Satan said White’s miscarriage sermon was beyond the pale:
Asking your imaginary friend to terminate someone else’s pregnancy against their will is pretty messed up. https://t.co/iosaJniFgp

Others also weighed in what White had said:
Someone please ask Paula to explain the following: to be pro life you assume the baby is an innocent soul. Here, Paula is saying pregnancies are satanic and should die. How does Paula know people aren’t aborting satanic pregnancies? She is a heretic. A full blown heretic.

I want to point something out.
Christians are supposed to love unconditionally. Jesus said to love all.
This shows me otherwise.
And the idea that a woman who would use her position for something like this would have the ear of a world leader for an instant disgusts me.— Amy Smith (@fireheather) January 26, 2020
Southern Baptist theologian and ethicist Russell D. Moore said that “Paula White is a charlatan and recognized as a heretic by every orthodox Christian, of whatever tribe.“

I’m very much trying to control my anger. We the taxpayers provide for a criminal family working against the US. We provide the salary for a press secretary that only tweets or goes on Trump Propaganda News network. We provide the salary for this revolting excuse for an adviser.
