President Donald Trump and his delusional cult launched an attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Monday by accusing her of mumbling throughout his State of the Union Address last week, drawing a severe burn from MSNBC host Joy Reid.

Pelosi drew cheers across the country when she ripped up Trump’s speech at the end of his remarks while conservatives have been calling for her to be jailed even though she broke no laws.

During a rally in New Hampshire on Monday, Trump supporters chanted “Lock her up!” as he claimed she was mumbling behind him during his remarks.

“On Tuesday, I delivered my address on the State of the Union and I had somebody behind me who was mumbling terribly, mumbling,” Trump said. “There was mumbling. Very distracting. Very distracting. I’m speaking and a woman is mumbling terribly behind me, angry. There was a little anger back there. We’re the ones who should be angry, not them. We’re the ones.”

Twitter users were unimpressed.

But the best response came from Reid, who opined about what Pelosi was saying if she mumbled at all.

“If Nancy Pelosi was mumbling behind Donald Trump, do you know what she was mumbling?” Reid began. “I’m about to own you. I’m about to own this State of the Union, and I’m about to rip your speech up!’ If she was mumbling, that’s what she was mumbling. Donald Trump was owned by that woman. She stole that speech out from under him.”

She sure did, and Trump has been fuming about it ever since, which is why he is launching desperate and pathetic attacks against her.
