President Donald Trump took to Twitter early Tuesday morning and demanded the Justice Department immediately grant a new trial to his longtime friend and protege, Roger Stone, who is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday after he was convicted of obstruction, lying to Congress, and witness tampering in November of last year.
Having apparently watched a segment on Fox News in which legal analyst Andrew Napolitano also mentioned a new trial for Stone, Trump posted these three tweets:
“Judge Jackson now has a request for a new trial based on the unambiguous & self outed bias of the foreperson of the jury, whose also a lawyer, by the way. ‘Madam foreperson, your a lawyer, you have a duty, an affirmative obligation, to reveal to us when we selected you the…..

There can be no doubt that this president is actively trying to interfere in the workings of the Department of Justice. It’s one of many reasons he needs to be booted from office come November.
