Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee went on a bizarre rant Friday morning during an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” but his efforts to defend President Donald Trump’s response to the growing coronavirus fears only accomplished one thing: Giving birth to an embarrassing Twitter hashtag.
According to Huckabee, Trump isn’t getting nearly enough credit for what he’s already done to control spread of the virus in the United States, and he suggested that no matter what the president does, it will never be enough, remarking:
“He could personally suck the virus out of every one of the 60,000 people in the world, suck it out of their lungs, swim to the bottom of the ocean and spit it out, and he would be accused of pollution for messing up the ocean.”

And that was all it took for social media to create a new hashtag, #SuckItTrump:
This is the best idea Mike Huckabee has ever had. Trump should give it a try.#SuckItTrump https://t.co/TLbe318t2h
