President Donald Trump threw a late night temper tantrum blaming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for Senate Democrats blocking a pathetic coronavirus relief bill that had very little to help people and a $500 billion slush fund for corporations without any oversight whatsoever.

Democrats rejected the bill several times on Monday because it’s a corporate giveaway, one that Trump says he will oversee because he is salivating at the opportunity to rob American taxpayers blind to give billions to himself, his family and his businesses.

Meanwhile, the bill provided little relief to the majority of Americans who need it most. Again, Republicans wrote this bill without input from Democrats. It’s NOT bipartisan, yet Trump threw a hissy fit at Pelosi after the end of his press conference.

Pelosi and Democrats have been working this whole time while Senate Republicans were the ones who took a break for days as the pandemic worsened. And this bill was a bad bill that served mainly as a bailout for corporations and wealthy CEOs.

Twitter users ripped Trump a new one for the unfounded attack.

Our nation is dealing with a pandemic that has wrecked havoc on public health and the economy. But while corporations already have enough money to get through this crisis, the average American is struggling to make ends meet. This is the moment to help the American people, not corporations. Corporate America has been given enough money already and it’s time for that to stop in favor of giving money to the people for a change. That’s what Democrats are fighting for.
