President Donald Trump continued to push anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine on Tuesday while speaking to reporters yet again in the White House, even insulting those who have died because of the drug in a desperate effort to make a case for Americans to use it.
Trump claimed that he has been taking the drug for a while now even though he provided no proof that he actually does. Despite the harmful side-effects from the drug that can be fatal and the fact that studies show there is no value from taking the drug to treat or prevent coronavirus, Trump promoted it again by trashing the studies and accusing the researchers of being biased against him.
“If you look at the one survey, the only bad survey, they were giving it to people that were in very bad shape, they were very old, almost dead,” Trump claimed. “It was a Trump enemy statement.”

Trump then doubled down by claiming that veterans who were given the drug by the Veteran’s Administration only died because they were “ready to die” already.
“That was a false study done. Where they gave it to very sick people. Extremely sick people. People that were ready to die. It was given by obviously not friends of the administration,” Trump said.

Trump is a lunatic who has no medical expertise at all. Multiple studies show that hydroxychloroquine can be fatal and doesn’t even treat the virus. Military veterans died taking this drug and their blood is on Trump’s hands. Insulting them doesn’t change the fact that this drug is NOT a treatment for coronavirus, and Americans should be disgusted by Trump’s remarks.
