In a sign that the American people are finally sick and tired of racist Republicans, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) lost his re-election bid on Tuesday.
Arguably the most racist congressman, King has drawn outrage over the years for his bigoted statements, including when he defended white supremacy. He has also defended rape and incest and lost all of his committee assignments because he is so offensive. You can read several of his worst incendiary remarks here.
But Iowa voters went to the polls and ended all of that on Tuesday when they soundly defeated him in the Republican primary.
The nine-term congressman will not be representing the state anymore, and that was music to American’s ears as they mocked him in celebration.
Rep. Steve King lost, which finally makes him a true nazi

The guy who asked how the terms “white nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization” became offensive can now think about the answers from his garage. Beat it. #steveking https://t.co/59FPpp2pCh

At least Steve King will have more time to spend with his Master Race.

Goodbye, Rep. Steve King. You are certainly not the only white supremacist in federal government, but you were among the most prominent.
It’s a shame Republicans held you up as long as they did.

Twitter also reminded everyone that while King is gone, President Donald Trump supported him and remains in office.

One racist down, more still to be toppled.
