Fact checking anyone from the Trump administration is a full-time job, but White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany got what may well wind up being the most embarrassing fact-check of them all on Friday when she tried to say that the so-called “cancel culture” of progressives was threatening to eliminate harmless things such as cartoons.

At the daily press briefing McEnany said President Donald Trump was dedicated to reducing violence across the nation:

“He’s very keen on seeing the violence in our streets end. He wants to protect the people of this country, when derelict Democrat mayors and governors do not.

“He’s also appalled by cancel culture and cancel culture specifically as it pertains to cops. We saw a few weeks ago that Paw Patrol, a cartoon show about cops, was cancelled. The show Cops was cancelled. Live PD was cancelled. Lego halted the sales of their Lego City Police Station. It’s really unfortunate, because I stand with, and the president stands with, the 63 percent of Americans who think police officers are one of the most important jobs in this country.”

Problem is, Paw Patrol hasn’t been canceled, as Nickelodeon informed the press secretary on Twitter:

Then others joined the mocking:

On November 3, hopefully the voters of this country are going to cancel this administration.
