President Donald Trump continued making Americans ill on Sunday by insisting that he should be on Mount Rushmore all while claiming that reports on his effort to be added to it are “fake news.”

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Trump and his staff sought to have his own face carved into the South Dakota monument. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem met Trump at the White House and relayed this little tidbit.

“He said, ‘Kristi, come on over here. Shake my hand,'” Noem said. “I shook his hand, and I said, ‘Mr. President, you should come to South Dakota sometime. We have Mount Rushmore.’ And he goes, ‘Do you know it’s my dream to have my face on Mount Rushmore?’ I started laughing. He wasn’t laughing, so he was totally serious.”

But Trump responded to the reports by calling them “fake,” only to post an image of himself and Mount Rushmore and insisting that adding him to it is a “good idea.”

Americans lost their lunch.

Trump does not belong on Mount Rushmore. He belongs in prison.
