President Donald Trump continued making Americans ill on Sunday by insisting that he should be on Mount Rushmore all while claiming that reports on his effort to be added to it are “fake news.”
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Trump and his staff sought to have his own face carved into the South Dakota monument. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem met Trump at the White House and relayed this little tidbit.
“He said, ‘Kristi, come on over here. Shake my hand,'” Noem said. “I shook his hand, and I said, ‘Mr. President, you should come to South Dakota sometime. We have Mount Rushmore.’ And he goes, ‘Do you know it’s my dream to have my face on Mount Rushmore?’ I started laughing. He wasn’t laughing, so he was totally serious.”
But Trump responded to the reports by calling them “fake,” only to post an image of himself and Mount Rushmore and insisting that adding him to it is a “good idea.”

This is Fake News by the failing @nytimes & bad ratings @CNN. Never suggested it although, based on all of the many things accomplished during the first 3 1/2 years, perhaps more than any other Presidency, sounds like a good idea to me! https://t.co/EHrA9yUsAw

Americans lost their lunch.
Trump literally just suggested what he claims he never suggested. Who are you going to believe now?

5 million Americans infected, 162,000 dead, an eviscerated economy and you spend all day golfing and tweeting about legit media and cable news ratings. Go see if there’s a Russian Rushmore because surely you’re one of their best presidents, you pathological, psychotic pusbag. pic.twitter.com/bxp6EIjvsE

Trump does not belong on Mount Rushmore. He belongs in prison.
