Shortly before Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) accepted the nomination of her party to be the 2020 vice presidential nominee, former half-term Alaska governor Sarah Palin appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show and said something that wound up getting her pelted with scorn.

Palin was asked by Carlson:

“Looking back, is there anything you could have done to get the kind of coverage that Kamala Harris is getting now? Like you care about equality deep within your soul, that you’re a rockstar, a celebrity, you’re the Dalai Lama reincarnated. Could you have done anything to get that kind of coverage?”

According to The Daily Beast, the failed 2008 Republican running mate for the late Sen. John McCain responded:

“‘I would not have prostituted myself in terms of changing any of my positions in order to garner better press.’ She went on to suggest that she would ‘gotten a lot better coverage’ had she ‘compromised my convictions,’ seeming to imply that Harris has done that, without providing specific examples.”

Though she probably isn’t bright enough to realize it, Palin used an incredibly sexist wording to attack Harris, who, unlike Palin, has actually accomplished something in her life other than being a failed governor, reality TV star, and talking head on right-wing radio and television.

That was all it took for Twitter to remind Palin that her claims of being a “Christian” are a joke considering her comments on Sen. Harris:

Free advice for Sarah Palin: Stay on your back porch and keep an eye on Russia. The country doesn’t need to see or hear you ever again.
