President Donald Trump outrageously insinuated that Democratic nominee Joe Biden has suffered a stroke after refuting speculation that he himself has suffered a series of mini-strokes.

Trump’s mysterious and unplanned trip to Walter Reed hospital last year has generated many theories, including drug use gone wrong and mini-strokes. But the speculation only heightened in recent days due to a passage in New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt’s new book about the incident.

“[I]n the hours leading up to Trump’s trip to the hospital, word went out in the West Wing for the vice president to be on standby to take over the powers of the presidency temporarily if Trump had to undergo a procedure that would have required him to be anesthetized,” Schmidt wrote.

It’s usually major medical procedures that would need anesthesia, such as those having to do with the heart and brain and other major organs.

A stroke, therefore, would fit, especially since Trump has had trouble drinking water, walking down ramps, and sweeps his right leg at times when he is walking. Trump has also had clear cognitive issues.

In response to the speculation, Trump denied ever having a stroke, but also suggested Biden is the one who supposedly had a stroke.

Trump knows nothing about Biden’s health. However, it should be pointed out that Biden’s medical history is more transparent than Trump’s. Biden did suffer aneurysms in 1988 that were treated. Biden made a full recovery and there are no signs that he is unfit to hold office. There are certainly no signs that Biden has suffered a stroke.

Twitter users responded to Trump’s post.

If the speculation about Trump’s health is wrong, he should prove it by releasing all of his medical records and allow every doctor and nurse who came into contact with him to speak. But he won’t.
