Shortly before Labor Day officially ended Monday evening, President Donald Trump went on Twitter and issued a threat at his perceived enemies. He also insisted that he will win by an even larger margin than he did in 2016.
Here’s the tweet Trump sent shortly after 10 p.m.:
The Real Polls are starting to look GREAT! We will be having an even bigger victory than that of 2016. The Radical Left Anarchists, Agitators, Looters, and just plain Lunatics, will not be happy, but they will behave!

What “real polls” is the president referring to? Every single poll shows him trailing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The most recent CBS/YouGov survey had him behind Biden by 10 points and behind in nearly every battleground state, including Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
As for the threat against anyone who dares disagree with him, many on social media read that as yet another hint of fascism from the president, and they responded with righteous fury:
