Cindy McCain, the widow of the late Senator John McCain, formally endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the 2020 Election against President Donald Trump.

Trump has frequently attacked her late husband, including several times after John McCain died of brain cancer. A recent report revealed that Trump threw a fit over flags being lowered to honor McCain.

Trump has also been under fire for disparaging the troops, both living and dead, and is responsible for the deaths of 200,000 Americans due to the coronavirus.

It makes sense then that Cindy McCain would throw her support to Biden, who understands the pain of losing a child and watching another risk their life to serve.

It’s a glowing endorsement of Biden and a devastating indictment of Trump that could bring some Republicans, Independents, and undecided voters into Biden’s camp just weeks ahead of what is expected to be the most contentious election in American history.

John and Cindy McCain’s daughter Meghan, meanwhile, remains uncommitted despite the despicable attacks on her dad by Trump. One would think endorsing Biden would be an easy decision for her.

Regardless, Biden just picked up another major endorsement by yet another Republican in a race he is currently leading. We can expect Trump to also throw a temper tantrum about that, too.
