President Donald Trump only has himself to blame for contracting the coronavirus, but Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) pointed the finger at China and drew waves of ridicule for it.
Late Thursday night, Trump announced on Twitter that he is infected with the coronavirus after having previously referred to it as a “hoax” and attacking the wearing of masks and other public health measures to stop the spread.
Despite the high risk, Trump continued to hold rallies as more than 200,000 Americans died and millions more were infected. He also played golf and made appearances at events, all without wearing a mask. This is all on him and his irresponsible behavior during the pandemic.
But Loeffler tried to shift the blame from Trump to China and called for punishment.
Remember: China gave this virus to our President @realDonaldTrump and First Lady @FLOTUS.

Again, Trump recklessly responded to the coronavirus from the beginning. He even admitted as much on tape.
Trump put himself in harm’s way by refusing to listen to health experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci and now he is paying the price for his incompetence.
Loeffler is acting like China committed an act of war by somehow purposely infecting Trump. That’s just not the case at all.
Of course, Loeffler is still under fire for insider trading in the wake of a secret coronavirus meeting in Congress which saved her and her husband millions of dollars. And she was recently accused to trying to bribe Trump with campaign cash in exchange for his help in getting her top Republican opponent out of her Senate race.
Naturally, Americans buried Loeffler in mockery.

From what I’ve heard, it’s far more likely they caught it from the party chairwoman. Probably should have listened to the doctors about social distancing and wearing masks. Also shouldn’t have pretended it’s a hoax or no worse than the flu.
