Vice President Mike Pence had one chance to argue his case for re-election to the American people, but he blew it as Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) proved to be the stronger of the two.

Using her vast experience as a prosecutor, Harris made a solid case against the Trump administration time and time again, focusing especially on Trump’s response to the coronavirus.

“The American people have witnessed what is the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of our country,” Harris said. “They knew and they covered it up. The president said it was a hoax. They minimized the seriousness of it. In spite of all of that, today they still don’t have a plan.”

Indeed, Trump is literally on tape admitting that he repeatedly downplayed the danger of the virus even though he knew all along that it was worse than any common flu. It has killed over 200,000 Americans since February and is now sweeping through the White House.

Pence, of course, refused to answer for the death toll, which is the highest in the world. He also tried to use Trump’s tactic of repeatedly interrupting, only to get owned by Harris.

Harris then blasted Trump and Pence for constantly lying to the American people.

She also did not hold back about Trump’s tax returns, which reveal him to be a tax fraud and being $400 million in debt.

Not finished, Harris went on to slam Trump and Pence for taking credit for an economic recovery that occurred under Obama/Biden and torched Trump for trying to kill Obamacare during a pandemic.

Harris concluded by reminded Americans that Trump refuses to condemn white supremacists.

This was a disastrous debate for Pence. He used Trump’s rude tactics, failed to answer questions, and put his sycophancy on full display as Harris repeatedly took him and Trump to the woodshed. The choice of who should be vice president is clear. After all, even the flies knew who was spouting bullshit.
