According to President Donald Trump’s son, Don Jr., former Vice President Joe Biden should have solved the problem of racism in the United States because he was VP for the nation’s first African-American president.

Speaking at a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Don Jr. quickly responded when a member of the audience called Biden a “racist.” Trump agreed, adding:

“Well, he is. He was best friends with every segregationist ever to walk the halls of Congress.”

Junior then added:

“But he’s going to fix those issues now, right? Now he’s going to fix racial tensions in America. Why did you wait 47 years, Joe? You know, if you really cared, if you thought it was something you were going to campaign on, maybe you would have utilized, I don’t know, your 38 years in the United States Senate.

“How about if you really wanted to do something about the issue — because this is what I would have done. Now, I have a brain but maybe it’s different. But if I really cared about the issue I would have maybe utilized my eight years as vice president to the first African-American president.”

Yes, Biden was indeed VP for the first black president, which is something Donald Trump would have never agreed to be. If Biden is so racist, why would he have agreed to serve in a subservient role to an African-American POTUS? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Also, let’s not forget that it’s Don Jr’s father who has said the following things over the years:

  • “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here? We should have more people from places like Norway.”
  • “He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings — rulings that people can’t even believe.”
  • “And isn’t it funny. I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”

If Donald Trump Jr. wants to see blatant racism first-hand, all he has to do is go pay his father a visit. Or look in a mirror.
