Outgoing President Donald Trump’s complicit daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who is married to arguably the dumbest Trump son, suggested on Fox News that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp should declare Donald the winner of the election there because he owes him a quid pro quo.
As we all know, Trump was impeached for engaging in a quid pro quo with Ukraine in 2019 when Trump withheld critical military aid from Ukraine to force that nation’s leaders to open a sham investigation against then-candidate Joe Biden in a scheme to hurt Biden prior to the 2020 Election.
In fact, Trump has been all about the quid pro quo throughout his four years in office, expecting favors from others if he helps them and viciously turning on them if they don’t give him what he wants.
Well, Trump recently called Kemp to beg him to overturn the election results in Georgia and declare him the winner instead of Biden, who won the state by enough votes that even multiple recounts didn’t change the result.
State law dictates that Kemp cannot overturn the election, which is what he told Trump. Also, there is no proof of the mass election fraud that Trump alleges occurred in Georgia, which is why the courts have dismissed his various lawsuits.
On Saturday night, Lara Trump declared that Kemp owes Donald a favor and should comply with his demands.
“Governor Kemp owes his position, quite frankly, to Donald Trump,” Lara Trump claimed. “You know, it would be nice if he reciprocated in some way, not just to make sure that this goes the way we know it went for the president but for the American people. I mean, he owes it to all of us to do the right thing here.”
“I can see why the president is a little annoyed with the way he’s seen things go there,” she continued. “We’d all like to know what happened in the state of Georgia, a typically very red state. I don’t think anybody believes that Joe Biden won the state of Georgia. We know Donald Trump won the state of Georgia. We know he won this election in a landslide. And we’re going to prove that very, very soon.”

No, Trump did NOT win the 2020 Election. Not by a landslide and not at all. Biden won the election with 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232 and beat him in the popular vote by 7 million votes.
And what Lara Trump is suggesting is the definition of a quid pro quo, something for which Trump has already been impeached. This time, she expects Kemp to help Trump steal an election just because Trump endorsed him for governor.
It’s just not going to happen and we can add it to the long list of crimes Trump is already on the hook for once he leaves office because he can’t pardon himself. And it looks like Lara Trump should be investigated for crimes as well because she certainly seems to have experience helping her father-in-law commit them.
