White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany though she’d weigh in with her thoughts about this being the day the nation honors the late civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but she probably wishes she’d remained silent based on the responses she received to her tweet.
Here’s what McEnany posted Monday morning:
“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”
– Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. left a legacy of faith, love, and equality.
He made America better.
He was a true servant of Christ.
