Disgraced outgoing President Donald Trump will leave the White House on Wednesday morning after four long years of embarrassing himself and the nation, which he did one last time in a farewell address full of lies that Americans quickly trashed.
Trump had been resisting releasing such a video, but apparently decided to do so after his wife posted one of her own on Twitter.
Unable to use Twitter because he was blocked for inciting insurrection, Trump had to release his video through YouTube and the White House Twitter feed.
In the address, Trump laughably attempted to portray his presidency as one of unity and centrism.
“We restored the idea that in America, no one is forgotten — because everyone matters and everyone has a voice,” Trump said. “Our agenda was not about right or left, it wasn’t about Republican or Democrat, but about the good of a nation, and that means the whole nation.”
He went on to brag about his alleged achievements and pretended that he made an effort to handle the coronavirus while also pretending to condemn the violence at the Capitol committed by his own supporters.
“Four years ago, we launched a great national effort to rebuild our country, to renew its spirit, and to restore the allegiance of this government to its citizens.
We did what we came here to do—and so much more.”

Of course, we all know that Trump failed miserably as president. He did NOT seek unity, but worked to divide the nation daily by attacking anyone who criticized or opposed his agenda. His was the most right-wing agenda in American history that left the country worse off than when he took office in 2017.
Over 400,000 Americans are dead because of the pandemic that he called a “hoax,” and he even botched the distribution of the vaccine. The economy is in shambles despite Trump’s insistence otherwise. And again, Twitter banned Trump because he incited the violence at the Capitol.
This address is just one big lie, pure and simple, and Americans were not buying it.
Farewell, enjoy the view from Rikers.

I’m fine with it hitting him.

Tomorrow we will hear truth rather than lies coming from the White House. Amen.

And four years later America is a smoldering pile of hate full of Qult members who believed you. Well done.

One of the things I’m most excited for about tomorrow is this account reverting to information, rather than Soviet style propaganda.

Trump faces being the first president to be convicted in an impeachment trial. That alone says a lot of his dumpster fire presidency. When the clock strikes noon on Inauguration Day, the American people can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that adults will be back in charge and that Trump will be cast into the dustbin of history where he belongs.
