On Thursday, President Joe Biden laid out his foreign policy objectives, making it clear that the United States would fully support its allies and punish foes such as Russia for daring to cross the United States, telling State Department employees:

“America is back, diplomacy is back at the center of our foreign policy.”

Just a few hours later, former Trump administration Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was sniping at Biden, something that even former President Donald Trump has avoided since leaving office.

During an appearance on Fox News, Pompeo remarked:

“I don’t think the American people can afford to go back to eight more years of Barack Obama‘s foreign policy. I hope they’ll move forward with a foreign policy, much more like our America First foreign policy.”

Attention Mike Pompeo: Trump lost the election! You don’t to make policy. Just sit down and be quiet!

Pompeo then added:

“We worked hard to prevent Russia from interfering in our election. I’m proud of the work that we did. I’m proud of the work we did to push back against Russia.”

Ha! Trump and Pompeo coddled Russia and Putin for four solid years.

The former State Department chief’s comments drew widespread criticism on Twitter:

Much like the clown he used to work for in the White House, Mike Pompeo can’t accept that he’s now completely irrelevant.
