Former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle made one of the the most ridiculous assertions at CPAC by claiming that disgraced former President Donald Trump is still president.

As we all know, Trump lost the 2020 Election by 8 million votes and an electoral landslide to President Joe Biden. The results are indisputably legitimate and Trump has offered zero evidence of his election fraud claims. He grudgingly left office on the morning of January 20th prior to Biden’s inauguration.

Trump’s term in office ended at the stroke of noon on January 20th. In fact, it ended a few minutes earlier since Biden took the oath of office a little before noon that day. So, Trump is not president anymore no matter how much he and his supporters pretend otherwise.

But that’s exactly what Guilfoyle did on Saturday during her remarks at CPAC, which has been displaying a golden statue of Trump for attendees to worship.

First of all, she did not refer to Trump as the former president, but simply as president as if he’s still in office. Then she laughably claimed Trump will get more done for the country from his office in Mar-a-Lago than Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will. She even disrespected Biden and Harris by not using their official titles.

“I will confidently say that President Trump from his desk at Mar-a-Lago will accomplish more for America in the next four years than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could ever dream of,” she declared.

Here’s the video via Twitter:

Of course, mockery ensued.

Indeed, Trump is not doing any work at Mar-a-Lago. He never has and he never will. One year of his presidency was spent at his golf courses at taxpayer expense. If Trump had actually done any work as president there would not be 500,000 Americans dead right now because of the coronavirus pandemic. Our economy would not be in shambles. And our democracy would not be close to imploding.

The idea that Trump is still president and that he is doing any work at all for the country is a complete and utter joke. And so is Kimberly Guilfoyle.
