Trump-loving former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee embarrassed himself over the weekend by tweeting out a ridiculous election conspiracy claiming that most Georgia voters disapprove of President Joe Biden and would vote for disgraced former President Donald Trump in 2024.

Trump spewed many election conspiracies upon being defeated by Biden in 2020, including in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Of course, all of his claims have been debunked not only in the courts, but by experts the GOP hired themselves.

The 2020 Election was the most secure election in history. There was absolutely zero fraud, unless you count fraud committed by Republicans, and that’s especially true in Georgia, where recounts consistently showed that Trump lost. Trump is now being investigated for election tampering in the state.

But Huckabee, whose daughter Sarah Huckabee Sanders is running for governor in Arkansas, claimed that Biden could not have possibly won Georgia because a poll he failed to cite supposedly says most voters there disapprove of Biden and would vote for Trump in 2024.

The problem is that the poll Huckabee referenced is a poll of Republican primary voters. Seriously.

The reality is that 49.26 percent of Georgia voters backed Trump in 2020 compared to 49.50 percent of Georgia voters that gave Biden the victory. In addition, Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff beat their Republican opponents with over 50 percent of the vote in respective Senate races on the promise that Democrats would deliver a coronavirus stimulus package, which Biden recently signed into law, thus fulfilling that promise.

Clearly, Georgia supports Biden and has a big reason to not only approve of his job performance, but to also vote for him again in 2024. Huckabee should be embarrassed about his reading comprehension skills and Arkansas voters would be better off not picking anyone with the name Huckabee to be their governor.
