Jared Kushner, who served as a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, decided he’d offer some advice on foreign policy to President Joe Biden, but only succeeded in getting destroyed on social media for meddling in the affairs of the current administration, Newsweek reports:
“In an editorial published in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Kushner praised ‘smart’ moves made early on by the new administration but credited Trump for creating an improved relationship between the United States and Iran.
“The Biden administration is making China a priority in its foreign policy, and rightly so—one of Mr. Trump’s greatest legacies will be changing the world’s view of China’s behavior. But it would be a mistake not to build on the progress in the Middle East.”
Surprisingly, Kushner also applauded moves made by the Biden administration to possibly rejoin the Iran nuclear deal, which his father-in-law withdrew from:
“While many were troubled by the Biden team’s opening offer to work with Europe and rejoin the Iran deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, I saw it as a smart diplomatic move.”
Time out! What in the hell is going on here? Since when does a member of the Trump White House lavish praise on Joe Biden? And who asked Kushner in the first place? That’s exactly what many asked on Twitter:
Writing in today’s Wall Street Journal, Jared Kushner evidently forgets that the Palestinians exist and that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is very much alive.https://t.co/dUCxWVtCWA pic.twitter.com/HwQRKDfNWj

Jared Kushner calls negotiations over the creation of a Palestinian state a “real-estate dispute” and yet amazingly that still isn’t the most arrogant, naive part of his high school essay-turned oped in today’s WSJ. pic.twitter.com/VsBNdB54YY

As he touts the real progress achieved by the Abraham Accords, Jared Kushner boils down the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as “nothing more than a real-estate dispute between Israelis and Palestinians,” which is pretty remarkable & insultinghttps://t.co/IOHnEDRbPp

Jared Kushner thinks he can give foreign policy advice to President Joe Biden and his expert foreign policy team, including Sec of State Blinken. He says “if the Biden admin is smart.” The arrogance of this little shit.https://t.co/L4gJrOeyJf

And Kushner is suddenly an elder statesman foreign policy expert attempting to gain cred after all the Saudi/UAE grifting involving stealth financial deals and arms sales to the House of Saud? I’m not fooled. @WSJ pic.twitter.com/LjefS5Adxr

Here’s a suggestion for Jared Kushner: Sit down, shut up, and keep in mind that no one wants to hear what you have to say on any topic.
