Proving just how thin-skinned and vain he is, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) launched a pathetic attack on former Speaker of the House John Boehner simply because Boehner dared to say what nearly every person in Congress already knows: Cruz is a complete jerk.
Boehner has never been a fan of Cruz, and has repeatedly criticized him, calling him “Lucifer in the flesh” and a “miserable son of a bitch,” and also took a jab at the Texas Republican in his new memoir, cursing him in a new audiobook reading of his tome:
“PS, Ted Cruz — go f*ck yourself.”
Rather than laugh and go on with his life, Cruz had to try and get back at Boehner, posting this on Twitter:
Some smart-ass dropped off a copy of Boehner’s new book at my office. It’s even signed!
I filed it in the appropriate place. pic.twitter.com/dQGxofdcCf

That led others on social media to remind Cruz that no one cares about his petty grievances and that he needed to get back to work doing the job he was elected for instead of whining:
Sorry are you cancelling his book?

Radical leftists like Ted Cruz love book burning.

You had your office buy a book and throw it away for a picture. Wasting money…to own the GOP.

So glad to see you are focusing on things that really matter and working hard to make sure the people of Texas are able to recover from a pandemic and an energy crisis…🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Excellent self-own. Remember when you tried to light a bill in fire with a cigar and couldn’t even light the cigar? Hoping for a part two. Insurrectionist clown.
