During an appearance on Fox News Wednesday, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) fell flat on his face when he did a bizarre amalgam of the U.S. national anthem and “Home on the Range,” but only managed to make most viewers scratch their heads and wonder what exactly he was talking about.

HuffPost reports that Kemp was discussing his decision to ban COVID-19 “vaccine passports” in the Peach State when he let loose with this extemporaneous mush:

“It is America, the land of the home and freedom… range.”

What?! The noise you hear in the background is millions of people laughing and Francis Scott Key spinning in his grave.

Fox host Lawrence Jones acted as if nothing unusual had just taken place, ending the segment by remarking:

“For now it is. We gotta keep fighting.”

Let the social media mockery begin!
