Americans mocked QAnon Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) into oblivion over the weekend for bizarrely comparing China to 1930s Germany.
While President Joe Biden was busy asking the G-7 nations to join with the United States in standing up to China, Boebert accused him of engaging in appeasement like British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain did with Germany in the 1930s.
China is looking an awful lot like 1930s Germany.
The policy of appeasement didn’t work then. It won’t work now.
History doesn’t repeat itself, but it definitely rhymes.

Again, Biden went to Europe and asked our allies for help in confronting China. That’s not appeasement. Also, China is communist, not fascist.
And if Boebert really wants to talk about comparisons to 1930s Germany, she’ll be stunned when she finds out that fascism has taken over the Republican Party and is slowly infecting our own nation. Of course, she knows that because she worships Donald Trump and helped him incite an insurrection and even helped the insurrectionists by live-tweeting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) location while they were hunting for lawmakers to murder.
Twitter users put Boebert in her place.
Stop pretending you have one iota of an idea how 1930’s Germany was Boebert

In order to get a college degree you first have to graduate from high school… which @laurenboebert did not do.

“Rhymes” with what?????
Is this a similar example of “Patriot is my pronoun?”

…kinda like the way you and your fellow GQPers appease that former guy?

How many Chinese trademarks are associated with the name Trump? I’ll wait, I know math is hard…

I was kind of thinking of America sliding down the slope of fascism.
Do your homework – there is absolutely no comparison between China and 1930’s Germany.

That moment when you’re straining to have a lucid thought for the first time in your entire life, and you’re almost there, but then the wad of chewing gum, yarn and rubber bands in your skull replies, “Not today – you’re Lauren Boebert” pic.twitter.com/QAnjVnTlw3

Wow. The confidence your GED has given you is really misplaced. 🤡

Correction. The US is looking like 1930s Germany.

The reason why history repeats itself is that people like Boebert don’t know or understand it in the first place. If she understood 1930s Germany, she’d realize the GOP is more likely to be using Hitler’s playbook. Or maybe she does know what her party is doing and this tweet is nothing more than an attempt to distract and fearmonger.
