Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) had a full-scale paranoid meltdown during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures,” telling Fox host Maria Bartiromo that the “left” controls everything in America.

Jordan was asked by Bartiromo about the leak of tax information on wealthy Americans such as Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffett to ProPublica, and that was all the congressman needed to start ranting:

“Here we are, we’re five months into the Biden administration, we’re right back to where we were 10 years ago in the Obama-Biden administration. Yeah, this is a problem. I hope there’s an investigation here and we get to the bottom of this.”

Keep in mind this is the very same Jim Jordan who had no problem with former President Donald Trump keeping his tax returns secret — even from Congress — which has a mandate in the Constitution to perform oversight of the president. It’s also the same hypocritical Jim Jordan who has refused to fully testify about what he knew and when he knew it regarding the sexual assault of Ohio State wrestlers while he was a coach on the team.

The Ohio Republican then began whining that “the left” controls so many aspects of his life:

“But I think in a general sense, we need understand that the left controls so much — the left controls big media, the left controls big tech. They now control big corporations, big sports, they control Hollywood, they control higher education, the left controls the White House, they control the Congress. And most importantly, they control the bureaucracy.

“We’ve got to get a handle on this.”

Get a handle on what? The fact that Americans voted in record numbers for Democrats and gave them control of the White House and Congress? You never heard Jordan complain when the GOP had the same situation in their favor the first two years of the Trump administration.

It’s clear that the latest Republican talking point is to blame “the left” for everything even though the GOP has offered no solutions to the problems which confront the nation.
