White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki brutally reminded Fox News “reporter” Peter Doocy on Wednesday why disgraced Florida retiree Donald Trump could not be trusted on fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

During another White House press briefing, Doocy suggested that President Joe Biden is to blame for many Americans refusing the get vaccinated, claiming he created “vaccine hesitancy” by declaring Trump untrustworthy during the 2020 campaign.

Psaki fired back by noting that Trump is still untrustworthy and that Biden trusts scientists.

“I think it’s safe to say he still doesn’t trust Donald Trump,” Psaki quipped. “So that hasn’t changed. But he does trust scientists. He does trust data experts and he does trust the people leading the CDC, the FDA, which is the gold standard for the approval of vaccines.”

Doocy then doubled down.

“Yes, but at the time when Donald Trump was out there saying we’re going to have a vaccine in the next couple of weeks, next couple of months and Joe Biden is out there on the campaign trail saying don’t trust Donald Trump,” he said. “Did that create any kind of vaccine hesitancy?”

Trump promised that a vaccine would be ready by Election Day in a scheme to get votes. It turned out that a vaccine was not ready until a month after the election, and it was manufactured by a German pharmaceutical company that was not funded by the United States.

Furthermore, Trump took the vaccine without telling his supporters that he did so or that they should also get one. He repeatedly pushed false coronavirus “cures” as Psaki went on to remind Doocy.

“Not that we’ve seen in the data,” Psaki replied. “I would note that at the time, just for context, the former president was also suggesting people inject versions of poison into their veins to cure Covid. So I think that’s a relevant point.”

Indeed, Trump’s suggestions forced Lysol to release a statement warning Americans not to inject bleach and other poisonous cleaning chemicals into their bodies. To learn more about Trump’s obsession with using bleach as a COVID “cure” click here.

The driving force behind new coronavirus cases and deaths are unvaccinated Trump supporters, not anything Biden has said. Doocy should not even be allowed in the briefing room if he’s going to continue trying to spin the pandemic as Biden’s fault.
