Infrastructure week finally became a reality this week when the Senate passed a $1.2 trillion bill, and Twitter could not stop pointing and laughing at disgraced Florida retiree Donald Trump over it.
After all, Trump repeatedly promised infrastructure legislation throughout his four years in office, but could not get it done even when Republicans controlled Congress in 2017 and 2018.
Trump held many of these infrastructure week PR stunts and failed spectacularly. On Tuesday, the Senate passed Biden’s infrastructure plan after just seven months in office despite Trump’s attempt to threaten Republicans into opposing it. In the end, 19 Republicans voted for it, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
Americans celebrated this 10-year investment in our country by shoving it in Trump’s orange face.

Let this be a lesson for Americans to remember. Trump only cared about himself and his power and did nothing to help the people or improve the country. Biden actually gets things done because he’s a real president.
