QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) already harasses Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) like a mean junior high girl. Now she’s doubling down by attacking her for wearing a dress.
AOC attended the Met Gala this week to raise money for New York City’s cultural institutions. However, the progressive lawmaker delivered a message as part of her own fashion statement by having “Tax The Rich” written in big red letters on the back of it.

And before haters get wild flying off the handle, New York elected officials are routinely invited to and attend the Met due to our responsibilities in overseeing and supporting the city’s cultural institutions for the public. I was one of several in attendance in this evening.🤗

Of course, Republicans immediately lost their sh*t by accusing AOC of being a hypocrite. But Greene, who has repeatedly harassed AOC, took it a step further by accusing her of copying a Trump supporter who wore a MAGA dress at a separate event several years ago even though fashion featuring political messages is nothing new, even then.
You were first 🔥
And gorgeous!
Perfect embodiment of an American woman who loves her country and America First! 🇺🇸 https://t.co/3Fij3aak1v pic.twitter.com/YpkbfaQoVD— Marjorie Taylor Greene 🇺🇸 (@mtgreenee) September 14, 2021
Frankly, AOC wore her dress much better, especially since it didn’t have that ridiculous MAGA flag and message on it. Also, it wasn’t racist.
Twitter users mocked Greene in defense of Ocasio-Cortez, who once compared Greene to the drunks she used to throw out of bars as a bartender.
I like @AOC ‘s dress much better Marge. 👇🏽 https://t.co/EfoUxDGttb

Hold up. What??
AOC’s dress doesn’t look ANYTHING like a Michelob Ultra can.

You’re just pissed you weren’t invited to make a political statement. Even tho yours wouldn’t have mattered much and just would’ve been laughed at

Everything you do smacks of being incredibly jealous of AOC.
I am no fan of hers but really … just do you. Be an effective legislator that’ll show her.

9.8 on the High School cattiness Richter Scale.

Except, AOC did it better and is far more fabulous!

But AOC did it so much better! Next to her you look like the missing link.

First..? Guess you forgot the #GOP has been fighting equality for such a long time that none of this is “new” or “the first.” pic.twitter.com/YTUfUO6Ibk

Once again, Greene humiliates herself in a desperate attempt to attack AOC. Sad.
