QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) launched an attack on President Joe Biden’s State Department on Sunday over the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban and drew instant backlash for her lack of facts.

Greene has been desperately flinging poo at Democrats and Republicans on her repeatedly suspended Twitter account. It’s a pathetic display comparable to a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum. And she did it again on Sunday by blaming the Biden administration for the Taliban taking over Afghanistan.

It is estimated that around 100 to 200 Americans are still in Afghanistan. But there is zero evidence that any of them are being “held hostage” by the Taliban, who have agreed to work with the United States government to get them out of the country.

Furthermore, the Taliban did not get $85 billion worth of American military equipment and weapons. Most, if not all, of the weapons and equipment left behind by our troops, were disabled or destroyed on their way out the door. Any weapons and equipment gained by the Taliban came from the Afghan military, which basically surrendered to the Taliban rather than fight for their own country.

It should also once again be pointed out that Donald Trump is the one who signed the troop withdrawal agreement with the Taliban and freed 5,000 Taliban fighters and their leader. He’s to blame for the chaotic withdrawal and the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, not Biden.

Twitter users not only humiliated Greene for her factless rant, but they also noted that while Greene is supposedly concerned about the plight of women in Afghanistan, she is not apparently concerned with women losing their rights in Texas and slammed her for caring more about 100 to 200 stranded Americans than she does about the more than 600,000 Americans who have died because of the coronavirus.

Twitter really needs to get around to banning Greene from their platform.
