MSNBC host Chris Hayes said Wednesday night on his show that if Tucker Carlson of Fox News is truly opposed to companies requiring employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19, he should have the courage of his convictions and resign his post at Fox, which just so happens to mandate that employees be vaccinated for the deadly virus.

Hayes began by noting that Carlson has been “the most vocal anti-vaccination voice in America media,” and then explained why the Fox host really has no choice but to tender his resignation from the conservative news outlet:

“Unless he just does not actually believe any of the stuff he’s saying ― and it’s all just a craven, cynical act for ratings while he himself is vaxxed and people die needlessly by the thousands ― he might just be highlighting all those other people who showed actual courage, as he works up his own courage, you know, kind of through osmosis, to walk out.

“Because if you truly believe you are suffering under the sadomasochistic heel of a tyrannical employer ― even if they are paying you lots and lots of money, even if you don’t want people to think you’re a total fraud ― then you have got to have the guts to call out Fox News or resign in protest.”

Having called Carlson a hypocrite without even saying the word, Hayes then quipped:

“There is no other option. It’s the only way forward. You can do it Tucker. I believe in you.”

Just last month, Carlson said requiring U.S. military personnel to be vaccinated for coronavirus was nothing more than “a new political purity test.”

“The point of mandatory vaccination is to identify the sincere Christians in the ranks, the freethinkers, the men with high testosterone levels, and anyone else who does not love Joe Biden and make them leave immediately. It’s a takeover of the U.S. military.”

Of course, the military has been mandating that every member of their ranks receive vaccines for all sorts of diseases for generations. Even George Washington made his troops get vaccinated for smallpox.

So what say you, Tucker? Are you willing to pass on millions of dollars from Fox to prove that you’re sincere? Or are you just a pathetic rabble rouser without a spine?
