Donald Trump gave Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) his complete endorsement on Thursday just a day after Gosar was censured by the House for inciting violence against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Gosar posted a photoshopped animated video of himself killing AOC and attacking President Joe Biden on Twitter at a time when Trump supporters are still issuing death threats to Democrats ll months after violently storming the Capitol to overthrow democracy and potentially assassinate lawmakers along the way.

AOC herself feared for her life that day as the Trump supporters rampaged through the building after being incited by Trump.

The video made the rounds on social media and Gosar was widely condemned, resulting in the House censuring him earlier this week and removing him from committee assignments.

Well, Gosar’s video apparently made Trump proud, so he endorsed him.

“Congressman Paul Gosar has been a loyal supporter of our America First agenda, and even more importantly, the USA,” Trump said in the statement from his Save America PAC. “Paul is a congressman who is highly respected in Arizona, strong on Crime, Borders, our Military, and our Veterans. He continually fights for Lower Taxes, Less Regulations, and our great, but under siege, Second Amendment. Paul Gosar has my Complete and Total Endorsement.”

Trump frequently targeted AOC and her progressive colleagues throughout his four years in office. Now he’s endorsing someone who openly fantasizes about murdering her.

Gosar should be expelled from the House for his behavior. It not only serves as a threat against AOC, but it also incites violence against her by others. As we all know, conservatives are rather easy to incite these days and Trump’s endorsement of Gosar is an endorsement of violence against AOC.
