In one of the most disgusting displays seen on Fox News in recent months, “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy urged the father of a murdered girl to “be political” and “blame” Democrats for the death of his daughter.

As part of a segment Fox calls “America’s Crime Crisis,” Doocy spoke with Todd Kupler, claiming that he was on the show to call out Democratic politicians for the death of his daughter, Brianna, a student at UCLA who was slain during a furniture store robbery in Los Angeles.

However, in response to what Doocy claimed, Kupler noted, “I don’t think anybody is to blame except the assailant.”

Doocy appeared to choke up as he told the father he needed to “be political,” remarking:

“Todd, I know you wanted to come on to honor her memory. And I know you didn’t want to be political but you have blamed some politicians.”

However, Kupler refused to comply with what Doocy wanted:

“I’m not blaming anybody by name. I blame what’s endemic in our society right now is that everybody seems to be oriented on giving back rights and bestowing favor on people that rob others of their rights. We should be celebrating the good in people.”

That led Doocy to opine:

“Unfortunately there seem to be locations and circumstances where for whatever reason there’s often little consequence for crime. And that’s a problem we’ve got to dig ourselves out of.”

If you watch Fox for more than 5 minutes (which isn’t recommended), you quickly see that they have one mission: To blame Democrats and the Biden administration for everything bad that happens in the United States. They act as if there was no crime under Trump and every violent act is Biden’s fault. But that’s a lie, as FactCheck notes:

“After more than three years in office, Trump has touted low crime statistics, falsely claiming a ‘record.'”

Like nearly everything they “report” on Fox, their so-called “news” is little more than rumor, propaganda, and lies.
