You wouldn’t think there’s anything the least bit controversial about the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, appearing on the long-running children’s show Sesame Street, but in the world of conservative aggrievement and anger, such an event is the perfect reason to go on social media and express outrage.
The Independent reports that the First Lady urged children to always be kind to others:
“When we do things for others, it makes us feel good too,” Ms. Biden tells Elmo and two other Muppets. “It’s important that we are kind to every person, monster, animal, and the environment.”
We could all use a little kindness. ❤️ Thank you to our very special friend @FLOTUS for sharing today’s Word of the Day! #ComingTogether pic.twitter.com/YfDO6qqucw

Kindness. Yes! That’s certainly something we need much more of in this world, and isn’t it worthwhile to teach our children that valuable lesson?
Apparently not based on some of the hateful invectives that got posted by right wingers on Twitter.
History will not be kind to her.
She should have never put the nation through this awful time.

What would she know about kindness, when she mocks American peasants suffering with historic inflation and gas prices?

If they only practiced what they preach

Was the Word of the Day “inflation”?

She’s such a phony

Used to like Sesame Street until they started indoctrinating our young children into believing what liberals want them to believe!

But for every negative comment, there were many more positive remarks, including admonitions to the hate tweeters who always look for things to criticize.
Anyone who feels empowered to respond like this on a children’s program social media feed really needs to look deep into their souls as to why they are this way. I’m sorry you are like this.
