As Fox News declines to air the upcoming live January 6th Committee hearings, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others blasted the network.
Just about every major media outlet is preparing to carry live coverage of the January 6th Committee hearings that will reportedly deliver damning evidence against Donald Trump and the GOP highlighting their attempt to overthrow our democracy.
As we all recall, conservatives violently stormed the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, in a scheme to prevent the electoral votes from being counted and certified by the House and Senate. The main goal of their plot against this country was to install Trump as a dictator and deny President Joe Biden the presidency despite his legitimate victory at the polls in the 2020 Election.
The House January 6th Committee has spent months compiling evidence and testimony to build a case to present to the American people. Again, this case is damaging to Trump and the GOP.
Of course, Trump and Republicans want to distract the public from paying attention to the hearings, which begin airing on Thursday via several networks, including CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, C-SPAN, and PBS among others. But Fox News, the propaganda arm of the Republican Party, is refusing to air the hearings.
Instead, Deadline reports that Fox News will be airing their regularly scheduled programming, which includes Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham, all of whom have frequently attacked the investigation and have promoted Trump’s election lies.
As a result, millions of Fox News viewers will not see the hearings or the evidence and testimony that exposes Trump and the GOP. Ingraham and Hannity have already contributed to the investigation via tweets they sent to disgraced former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.
In effect, Fox News is continuing its seditious cover-up of the Capitol insurrection. Clinton was among many others who called out Fox News in response.

I guess if my prime time lineup spent the attempted coup frantically texting the President’s chief of staff to tell him to call it off—while simultaneous spreading false information about the attack on air—I wouldn’t broadcast the hearings about the attempted coup either.

Fox “News” ran 1,098 primetime segments on Benghazi from the attack until the committee hearings, which they carried live for over 7 hours.
Today the network announced it won’t cover the hearings on the January 6th insurrection.

Fox News should not only be barred from White House press briefings, but the network should also lose its broadcasting license and be permanently shut down. There is no room in this country for a “news” organization that won’t report the truth.
