As her husband continues to rail against the FBI and Justice Department, incriminating himself with every statement he makes, former first lady Melania Trump was also deeply upset by the search warrant that was served at the Mar-a-Lago resort last month to retrieve classified documents that ex-president Donald Trump allegedly took in violation of federal law.

A report from Radar Online notes that Mrs. Trump felt so “violated” by the search that she immediately went out and purchased new underwear.

The FBI searched through drawers that contained Melania’s undergarments as they looked for the purloined documents, and that totally unnerved her:

“Melania doesn’t like the idea of strangers going rifling through her things. Who knows who touched her underwear during the raid? She’s never going to feel comfortable wearing those ever again,” a pal tells Radar. “Most people don’t know that Melania is a bigger germaphobe than her husband. She hates people touching her and certainly doesn’t want to put on lingerie that FBI agents have had their hands all over.”

Reportedly, the former first lady wondered how anyone could obtain a search warrant for her residence:

“This is her home. It’s her bedroom. Even her husband isn’t allowed in her bedroom,” adds a friend. “Even if they wore gloves, it is still strangers going through your underwear draws. She has already bought new underwear and thrown everything that has been contaminated away,” sources tell RadarOnline.com.

The former president has also expressed his surprise that anyone would want to search his property, telling users on his Truth Social social media site:

“We were essentially attacked. We were broken into. They opened up safes, they brought safecrackers in. They brought many, many FBI agents in – all right before the midterms and all when I have the best poll numbers I’ve ever had.”

Of course, if he didn’t have anything to hide in the first place, Donald could have easily invited federal agents to search his Palm Beach resort for the documents they were seeking.
