Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) begged voters for campaign donations in the middle of a pandemic on Tuesday, and drew ridicule from former conservative lawmaker Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), who announced his support for Graham’s Democratic opponent.
Jaime Harrison is proving to be a tough opponent for Graham, not just because he’s a strong Democratic candidate, but because Graham has weakened himself by sewing his lips to President Donald Trump’s a**.
He’s so weak, in fact, that he released a message on Twitter begging people for money instead of doing his job to help the American people fight the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected over 180,000 Americans and killed nearly 4,000 as of his writing.
Here’s the video via Twitter:
With so much happening, it’s easy to forget that the 2020 campaign is still going on. If you’re able, would you consider giving a small donation to help me spread my common-sense conservative message? https://t.co/ZIQ6NcYwgN pic.twitter.com/YG8aUnRqXz

Walsh would soon respond to Graham’s message, not by donating money, but by ripping him for selling his soul to Trump and announcing he is supporting Harrison in the race.
Respectfully Lindsey, even though I’m a conservative, I’m supporting your opponent @harrisonjaime. I’m not a Democrat, but you’ve been in DC too damn long, and you sold your soul to Donald Trump. Shame on you. https://t.co/VsTnOtVBvy

That’s quite a blow for Graham, who is quickly learning that it was not a good idea for him to become a Trump sycophant. Graham used to be a strong Trump critic, but he has turned into one of his most hardcore minions since 2017.
If Walsh, who was known as a staunch conservative lawmaker, is upset with Graham enough to endorse his Democratic opponent, surely many Republican voters feel the same way in South Carolina as well and will vote for Harrison so that Graham can lose in November and go home in disgrace.
