Following the dismissal of his latest election lawsuit in Pennsylvania, outgoing President Donald Trump lashed out at President-Elect Joe Biden for forming a well-prepared transition team.

A federal judge brutally dismissed Trump’s frivolous lawsuit on Saturday, which had asked the judge to allow the Trump campaign to look at 1.5 million ballots themselves and let them determine who won the state.

Since Trump’s team had no evidence to offer, their case was always going to fail.

But Trump reacted by attacking Biden for preparing to replace him and called for Republican state legislatures to help him stay in power.

That scheme is unlikely to happen as Republican leaders in these states are poised to accept the will of the people. Besides, state laws prevent them from doing otherwise.

But it is clear that Trump intends to refuse to leave office on Inauguration Day, which means other means of removing Trump will be required.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, former President Barack Obama suggested that the Navy SEALS could drag Trump out.

“You know the White House well. You lived there for eight years. Are there places someone could hide? Like, if, say, they were going to be removed?” Kimmel asked. “There’s little cubby holes or anything we should know about?”

“Well, I think we can always send the Navy SEALs in there to dig him out,” Obama joked.

However, it’s a good idea and a viable one. After all, the military would salute Biden once he is sworn in. Obama is not the first to suggest that the military would forcibly remove Trump from office after the clock strikes noon on January 20th.

“You have four chiefs of staff coming out and ripping the skin off of Trump, and you have so many rank-and-file military personnel saying, ‘Whoa, we’re not a military state. This is not who we are,'” Biden told Trevor Noah on The Daily Show this past summer. “I promise you, I’m absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.”

A member of Biden’s campaign team also suggested during Election week that Trump would be charged with trespassing if he refuses to leave the White House.

In addition, Trump could also be removed by the FBI or by the Secret Service. But one way or another, Trump will be leaving office even if he has to be dragged out kicking and screaming. And anyone who tries to stand in the way should be arrested and dragged out with him. The Constitution makes it clear that Trump’s term ends on Inauguration Day and a new president takes over. This is not up for debate and would be just one more crime for which Trump can be and should be prosecuted.
