Travelers at Chicago’s O’Hare international airport were forced to wait for four to six hours in order to obtain medical screenings as a result of new policies enacted by the Trump administration to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, and the governor of Illinois lashed out at President Donald Trump for causing the delays, according to The Guardian:

“The US has imposed travel restrictions on countries in Europe and China and Iran and travelers from such destinations are being advised to self-quarantine for 14 days after reaching their final destination in the US.”

Even more dangerous is that such long waits for medical checks at an airport can wind up spreading the virus even faster, according to Dr. Seema Yasmin, who tweeted out this warning:

That led Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (IL) to direct a series of tweets to the president and Vice President Mike Pence, who serves as head of the White House’s coronavirus task force:
