Ever since Donald Trump became president, Fox Business host Lou Dobbs has been an eager supporter of whatever Trump says or does, no matter how questionable or absurd.

But on Wednesday, Dobbs reached a new level of sycophancy that some compared to the sort of thing you’d see on North Korean state TV.

HuffPost reports:

“In a poll shared on-air and on Twitter, Dobbs asked viewers to rate the president’s leadership during the coronavirus pandemic, opting, as he regularly does on air, to call the new coronavirus the ‘Wuhan Virus’ ― a xenophobic misnomer that the World Health Organization has repeatedly asked people not to use.”

Despite the adoration of Dobbs, Trump’s response has cost him the support of many voters, with a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour Marist poll showing only 37 of Americans have a “good amount or a great deal of trust in what they’re hearing from the president.” 60 percent say they have “not very much or no trust at all in what he’s saying.”

It didn’t take long for Twitter users to light Dobbs up for his disgusting devotion to a man who just a couple of weeks ago referred to the caronavirus pandemic as a “new hoax” being perpetrated by Democrats:
