Ever since Donald Trump became president, Fox Business host Lou Dobbs has been an eager supporter of whatever Trump says or does, no matter how questionable or absurd.
But on Wednesday, Dobbs reached a new level of sycophancy that some compared to the sort of thing you’d see on North Korean state TV.
“In a poll shared on-air and on Twitter, Dobbs asked viewers to rate the president’s leadership during the coronavirus pandemic, opting, as he regularly does on air, to call the new coronavirus the ‘Wuhan Virus’ ― a xenophobic misnomer that the World Health Organization has repeatedly asked people not to use.”

Despite the adoration of Dobbs, Trump’s response has cost him the support of many voters, with a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour Marist poll showing only 37 of Americans have a “good amount or a great deal of trust in what they’re hearing from the president.” 60 percent say they have “not very much or no trust at all in what he’s saying.”
It didn’t take long for Twitter users to light Dobbs up for his disgusting devotion to a man who just a couple of weeks ago referred to the caronavirus pandemic as a “new hoax” being perpetrated by Democrats:
How would you describe Lou Dobbs’ slavish, irrational, unreasoned, devotion to Donald Trump?

You’re making North Korean journalists blush with this ridiculous #TrumpTV poll.

Even by Lou Dobbs standards, this poll has really strong North Korean vibes pic.twitter.com/wmbIHWth7d

Lick those boots, Lou.

Please know your current President is a narcissistic fool and his response to this global emergency has been nothing short of arrogant and utterly incompetent. Thank you and thank Trump for being so inept that at least we have someone to laugh at, while we are quarantined.
