The Trump reelection campaign has decided to appropriate the format used for the popular ABC daytime talk show “The View” and use it to disseminate pro-Trump propaganda. Social media, however, isn’t the least bit impressed by the idea.
Instead of being called “The View,” the new online show has been dubbed “The Right View” and will be hosted by Lara Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump strategist Mercedes Schlapp, and Katrina Pierson, who served as a spokesperson for the 2016 Trump campaign.
Here’s a sampling of what to expect from “The Right View”:
The Trump campaign is launching a conservative competitor to ‘The View’ called ‘The Right View’

The idea of “The Right View” got a heavy dose of mockery on Twitter:
Is this a joke or for real?

Everything about this is desperate.

This is a huge plan of the scammers around Trump. Build their own propaganda network and clean up.

Such a hard pass I can’t even.

Just call the show “Four Karens” and be done with it.

I wish this was just a sick joke, or an SNL skit.

The Right View=The Plastic Crew.

I predict a lot of complaining and an overwhelming sense of victimhood from all the hosts, all of which paid for by the Trump campaign and are related or tangentially related to Trump.
The #grift is strong here.

I’m not real interested in listening to anyone that sleeps with a trump

That looks nauseating.

Now I know where charisma goes to die.
