Proving yet again that he cannot accept that he lost the 2020 presidential election because the majority of Americans voted against him, President Donald Trump said Sunday that he now believes the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI may be “involved” in a plot to steal a second term in office from him.
In his first interview since losing in an electoral landslide, Trump told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that he believes there was massive voter fraud with absentee ballots, though he provided not a speck of evidence to support his assertion:
“They send millions and millions and millions of mail-in ballots. I’m sure you know people that got two, three, four — because I do. They got four ballots. They got one at a country home. Dead people were seeing ballots. But even worse, dead people were applying to get a ballot. They were making applications to get ballots. Many. And we’re not talking about 10 people, we’re talking — there are a lot of dead people that so-called voted this election.”
There is no proof whatsoever that any deceased people voted. And if someone did receive more than one ballot, they wouldn’t be able to get more than one accepted and counted by election officials. There has never been any proof of largescale fraud in mail-in ballots, which just so happen to be the way members of the U.S. military cast their votes. Is Trump suggesting that the armed forces are cheating and voting more than once?
The president also noted that he finds it odd the DOJ and FBI haven’t charged anyone with voter fraud related to the recent election:
“This is total fraud, and how the FBI and Department of Justice, I don’t know, maybe they’ve involved but how people are allowed to get away with this stuff is unbelievable. This election was rigged. This election was a total fraud.
“Where are they? I’ve not seen anything. I mean, they just keep moving along and they go on to the next president. All I can say is with all of the fraud that’s taken place, no one has come to me and said the FBI has nabbed the people that are doing this scheme.”

They haven’t “nabbed” anyone because there’s no credible proof of any fraud in the 2020 election. The election Trump won in 2016, however, was influenced by Russia and that effort redounded to his benefit. And yet he never mentions that fraud might have been rampant four years ago.
Donald Trump is the world’s worst loser and the nation’s biggest crybaby. But the facts are undeniable: He lost, and he lost by a wide margin. He will go down in history as a failed one-term president who was impeached and disgraced the office with his behavior.
