Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has crossed line after line on Twitter, and it’s time for her to be banned on the social media platform in addition to being expelled from Congress.

Disgraced twice impeached former President Donald Trump has been begging his allies to post hateful attacks for him on Twitter, and it’s pretty clear that Greene is obliging him with her increasingly unhinged tweets.

Most recently, she falsely accused Black Lives Matter of being a domestic terrorist organization despite aiding and cheering on the Capitol insurrection by Trump supporters on January 6th.

She has also spewed anti-Semitism and bullied and threatened school shooting survivors. Her first act in Congress was filing an impeachment bill against President Joe Biden.

Greene has become the face of the Republican Party, a party that caters to conspiracy theorists, white supremacists, and right-wing domestic terrorists.

There’s absolutely no question that she should be removed from committees, censured, and even expelled. Her behavior is atrocious and is unbecoming of a member of the House.

But Twitter must now act, especially in light of a new diatribe against Democrats and the media that Greene posted on Wednesday.

This is incitement, the same kind of incitement that culminated in the January 6th terrorist attack against the Capitol. Greene is literally ginning up her right-wing followers. Her posts are not valid communication with constituents. It’s hate speech. It’s repetition of vicious falsehoods and defamation, particularly against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who should file a lawsuit against Greene for the smear that she allegedly married her brother to help him obtain a green card.

Twitter waited four years before banning Trump, it cannot wait to ban Greene.
