Former President Donald Trump gave a phone interview to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo Tuesday evening, and he claimed continued to claim that he’d been cheated out of a second term in office while also asserting that he “may be the most honest person.”

Referring to the call he made to election officials in Georgia in which he implored them to declare that he had won the Peach State (even though he clearly lost), Trump told Bartiromo:

“Actually, when you hear the tape, you’d say ‘Donald Trump could be the most honest person. It was a beautiful and perfect statement.”

Ironically, Trump’s specious claim that his phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffesnperger was “perfect” is exactly what the former president claimed when he was busted for attempting to extort Ukrainian officials for dirt on the Biden family during the 2020 election. He was impeached for that.

Trump also said that his supporters should get vaccinated for COVID-19:

“I would recommend it, and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it, and I lot of those people voted for me frankly. But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that and I agree with that also. But it’s a great vaccine, and it is a safe vaccine and it is something that works.”

Additionally, Trump took yet another shot at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), blaming him for the GOP losing two Senate seats in Georgia, which gave control of the upper chamber to Democrats:

“The Republicans, frankly, were fighting for $600 [in Covid-19 relief payments] versus $2,000, and that was the only add that the Democrats took. That was a disaster. They should not have been doing that. Mitch McConnell made a tremendous mistake.”

Before the interview ended, Bartiromo asked Trump about a rumor that Meghan Markle may run for president in 2024:

“What was your take on Meghan Markle, now saying, meeting with Democrat operatives, she may want to run for president?”

Trump responded:

“Well, I hope that happens, because if hat happened and I think I would have an even stronger feeling toward running [in 2024]. I’m not a fan of hers. I think that when she talks of the royal family and the Queen, I happen to think, I know the Queen as you know. I’ve met with the queen and I think the Queen is a tremendous person, and I am not a fan of Meghan.”

Is that right, Donald? Well keep this in mind: 81,281,502 American voters aren’t fans of yours and voted to send you into an early political retirement.
