Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) thought she’d try and make a joke about a warning she saw on Facebook, but all she accomplished was humiliating herself in humiliating fashion, according to HuffPost:

“(Facebook warned Greene) in an automated message that she could have been exposed to extremist content, and the irony did not go unnoticed by critics.

“The conspiracy theory-endorsing Georgia Republican, who has previously claimed Jewish space lasers started wildfires in California and likened House mask mandates to the Holocaust, on Thursday tweeted a screenshot of the note.”

Wow! Talk about a complete lack of self-awareness. This is the same Rep. Greene who defended domestic terrorists who attacked the U.S Capitol on January 6, remarking as recently as May:

“The people that breached the Capitol on Jan. 6 are being abused.”

Greene has also been vehemently opposed to the creation of a House committee to examine look at what transpired on that fateful day at the Capitol which resulted in the deaths of five people, including a member of the Capitol Police Force.

It didn’t take long before others on Twitter pointed out to Greene that she had just owned herself big time:

For an encore, maybe MTG will explain to all of us how it’s patriotic to call for overturning an election just because your candidate lost.
